A man fell from a cliff in a remote part of the U.S. state of Arizona on Sunday, a state official said.

Authorities had not yet confirmed whether the man was an official from the U-23 national team, but he was identified as the head coach of the team’s youth soccer team.

A man fell off a cliff and died after he was found by a rescue helicopter, according to Arizona State University spokesman Tim Jones.

A team member saw the man on Saturday, Jones said.

It was not immediately clear whether the person was a U.N. official or a member of the national team.

He fell about 100 feet off a steep cliff near Payson, about 90 miles (145 kilometers) northwest of Phoenix, Arizona.

The Arizona State athletic department said in a statement that the death was being investigated by the university’s student-athlete health department.
