Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted the Blues are not playing as well as he expected in their Champions League clash with Barcelona on Sunday.

But Mourinho is confident the home side can beat Barcelona, with a win over Real Madrid on Sunday having secured first place in Group B with five games remaining.

Mourinho, speaking to reporters ahead of the clash with Barca, said: “We are playing better than I thought.

Barcelona are very strong in their defence and our players have improved.

We need to do better on the pitch.”

Mourino said he expected the Blues to win, but added: “This is not easy.

We will fight.
